Dinner will follow at the historic Jax Café in Northeast Minneapolis, a beloved spot known for its warm atmosphere and old-world charm. Complimentary parking is available in the lots just across the street from the restaurant.

Appetizers and an open bar will begin at 4:00 p.m. Please make yourself at home—grab a cocktail, enjoy a few bites, and settle in while the wedding party makes its way from the ceremony. If you’re joining us for the reception but not the ceremony, we warmly invite you to arrive at this time, relax, and enjoy the festivities while you wait for the newlyweds to arrive.

For dinner, guests may choose from several wonderful options: fresh trout, prime rib, chicken, or butternut squash ravioli for our vegetarian guests. The trout is a special Jax tradition—you may even net one yourself from the patio stream (or let the staff do the honors), and it will be expertly deboned tableside.
